I’m delivering to our Rotary Club of Parkes Monday week. As it turns out my wife’s father was in New Guinea at the time, as a medic in the AIF. It was interesting to see this post about Francis Thomas Reid aka Frank Reid my Great Uncle Frank – as I’ve heard many stories about Uncle Frank from my father and I saw the comment from Mark Ritchie whose father was Uncle Frank’s cousin, so would also be my grandfather’s cousin and he also mentioned Frank’s sister my Great Aunty Margaret. If i could get some further contact details for Mark as I would like to contact him regarding our mutual family members. I am also trying to locate further information about Frank Reid and his service number to help me find further information about his war service history.
