Dapto War Memorial Garden, 1 Station Street, Dapto NSW
The Dapto War Memorial and Garden includes a dedicated plaque (see below) commemorating the 332 people on board. Located in a landscaped park on Station Street, Dapto, this memorial honours the 268 staff and crew who perished. The site serves as a place of reflection in the Illawarra region for this wartime tragedy.

Concord Repatriation General Hospital
The Centaur was an Australian hospital ship sunk by the Japanese off the coast of Queensland during WW2. A tragic event. But the window commemorating the lives lost is a beautiful and dramatic artwork. It is located in the front entry foyer of Concord Hospital in Sydney NSW.

Rookwood

The Sydney Memorial stands in Sydney War Cemetery, which is situated about 17 kilometres west of Sydney. By road the route is along the Great Western Highway (Parramatta Road), turning south into Marlborough Road which continues direct to the cemetery. The War Cemetery itself is in the grounds of Rookwood Necropolis, and the main entrance is at the western side, on the necropolis roadway. The Memorial is one of several which commemorate men of the Australian Army, Royal Australian Air Force and the Australian Merchant Navy who lost their lives in the south-west Pacific region during the 1939-45 War, and who have no known grave.
