From the May 2013 newsletter: During his research for a history project Year 12 student Alexander Roberts found that a King’s School Old Boy, Acting Lieutenant Sterling Browne Westhorp, a member of the 2/12 Field Ambulance was on board the Centaur and did not survive the sinking. Alex reports there is a plaque commemorating Lt Sterling Browne Westhrop in the school chapel.
